Wikipedia :Ghost Adventures is an American television series about the paranormal that premiered on October 17, 2008, on the Travel Channel. Produced by MY-Tupelo Entertainment, (a merger of MY Entertainment and Tupelo-Honey Productions), the program follows ghost hunters Zak Bagans, Nick Groff, and Aaron Goodwin as they investigate locations that are reported to be haunted. The show is introduced and narrated by Zak Bagans.
Ghost Adventures began as an independent film, produced in a documentary style. It was filmed in 2004 and produced by 4Reel Productions in 2006. The Syfy Channel premiered 4Reel's Ghost Adventures on July 25, 2007. The documentary centered on the trio's investigation of alleged paranormal activity in and around Virginia City, Nevada.

thebiographychannel :Zak Bagans, Nick Groff und Aaron Godwin teilen eine gemeinsame Leidenschaft: die Jagd nach Geistern. Mit modernsten Überwachungsgeräten machen sich die drei auf zu bekannten Orten, um unerklärliche Geschehnisse aufzuspüren und aufzuzeichnen. Zeugeninterviews und ausführliche Hintergrundrecherchen über die Ereignisse an diesen Plätzen dienen als Grundlage für die Geisterjagd. Eine Besonderheit der Serie ist, dass das Trio bei seinen Abenteuern nicht von einem Kamerateam begleitet wird. Nick und Aaron übernehmen diesen Part, während der Kopf der Gruppe, Zak, für die Regie zuständig ist. Das Ergebnis sind Aufzeichnungen, die dem Zuschauer das Gefühl vermitteln ein Teil der Crew zu sein.

Ghost Adventures gibt es nun als "Die Geister-Detektive" auch auf deutsch ...

Klarerweise ist es nicht für jeden leicht bzw. möglich, den englischen Kommentaren zu folgen. Jedoch führt die deutsche Synchronisation im Endeffekt nur dazu, dass die Serie auch noch den Rest an Glaubwürdigkeit verliert und einfach nur noch peinlich ist (dasselbe passiert leider auch mit "The Dead Files (Das Medium und der Cop)").

G.E.T ist ja auch ein Offizielles Mitglied der Ghost Adventures Family und kenne diese Episode. Eine Location die ich gerne mal selber auch untersuchen würde. Solche Gebäude findet man in God Old Germany so gut wie überhaupt nicht,-und wenn,- dann kommst nicht ran da unter Denkmalschutz usw....

Ok ... inzwischen wird es wirklich echt peinlich !!!

Die Typen investigieren in einem verlassenen Städtchen, zu dem keinerlei paranormale Berichte vorhanden bzw. zu finden sind. Aber ja ... bei deren Untersuchung bricht plötzlich die paranormale Hölle los und es tauchen Geschichten von einem durchgeknallten Priester auf, Hexen streifen durch den Wald und ein Dämon sagt Hallo. Aber das Allerbeste ist ... ein Vogel kackt auf Zak und dieser hält sich dadurch für den Auserwählten (im Video ab etwa 16:20) !!!

Zudem werden im Video ein paar "Experimente" vorgeführt, welche durch das Zusammentreffen von 15 Ley Lines möglich sein sollen. Hierbei sollte man beachten, dass diese Hütte schief gebaut ist und man dadurch den optischen Bezugspunkt verliert (z.B. das mit dem Ball: hierbei ist nicht festzustellen, in welchem Winkel die Rampe wirklich steht ... wenn die Rampe am Ende ganz leicht nach oben steht, reicht ein kleiner Schubs, um den Ball nach oben zu rollen, der dann wie durch Zauberei wieder zurückrollt). Das mit dem Besen und dem körperlichen Größenunterschied kann ich zwar nicht erklären, jedoch ist es meiner Meinung nach nichts "Übernatürliches".

Wikipedia :Demon House is a 2018 American documentary horror film directed and written by Zak Bagans, starring himself, Billy Tolley and Jay Wasley as themselves. The film follows the Ammons haunting case and was released in the United States on March 16, 2018, by Freestyle Releasing.

Zak Bagans purchases the house in which the alleged Ammons hauntings occurred. Bagans leads a team of paranormal investigators to investigate the house. Strange things begin happening and the crew becomes fearful of what they may be involved in.

Zak Bagans, the host of Travel Channel's Ghost Adventures, wrote and directed Demon House, the second film he has made since 2004. The film is based on the "mass hysteria" which surrounded the 2014 alleged demonic possession in Gary, Indiana of the Ammons family.

Beeindruckende Doku "The Demon House", stünde nicht Zak Bagans hinter diesem Projekt.
Obwohl er diesmal etwas schaumgebremster agiert als sonst, nimmt man ihm leider die Geschichte nicht unvoreingenommen ab: leider zu viele Dämonen in der Vergangenheit, auch wenn diesmal statt Zak der Kameramann besessen ist. Und die Stories der "Augenzeugen" (so faszinierend sie in jeder anderen Doku rüberkommen würden) könnte sich Zak locker finanziell leisten, immerhin hat er der Familie auch das Haus abgekauft.
Nichtsdestotrotz wirklich kurzweilig gemacht. Mal sehen ob es nach einem Erfolg des Films einen zweiten Teil gibt, immerhin könnte auf dem Grundstück ja wieder etwas gebaut werden. Die Dämonen werden sich ja nicht gleich von einer Schleifung der Hütte abschrecken lassen.
