The series features a group of fearless ghost hunters with their paranormal team called the Tennessee Wraith Chasers, who try to use their Southern charm, back-water ingenuity, and engineering knowledge to create supernatural inventions during their investigations in America's most haunted locations, which just happen to be abandoned asylums. Their specialty is investigating the many decaying and derelict mental institutions littered across the country. But they just don't gather evidence if ghosts or spirits exist in these places, their goal is to capture restless souls still trapped on this plane with their fabricated paranormal devices or what they call "ghost traps".
Ja, so wie es klingt, ist es auch ... es werden diverse Örtlichkeiten untersucht, obskure Geisterfallen entwickelt und eingesetzt. Über die "Ergebnisse" dieser Fallen braucht man eigentlich nicht weiter zu diskutieren. Ansonsten ist diese Serie leider auch kaum der Rede wert.
